The Flickers original remit was to facilitate the playing of subbuteo in all its forms, and our first ever subbuteo cricket match took place on the afternoon of Sunday 26th August 2012 with the following result:
Moston (John Devaney) 126 for 4 off 10 overs defeated Fairfield (Jez Boothman) 84 for 4 off 10 overs by 42 runs.
If and when enough people are interested there’s nothing to prevent our holding another, preferably larger scale, subbuteo cricket competiton at some point in the future.
